EU backs Eutelsat and Tusass satellite connectivity expansion in Greenland

The European Commission announced a EUR 200 million Global Gateway package for Greenland on 7 September 2026, backing an Eutelsat and Tusass project to extend OneWeb LEO connectivity to remote settlements, alongside cable, energy and raw materials cooperation.
