NanoXplore buys Scalinx to build a European sovereign chip champion
French chipmaker NanoXplore acquired Scalinx, a French analogue and RF signal chip designer in judicial receivership, retaining nearly all its 68 staff to build what it calls a European champion in sovereign critical microelectronics for space and defence.
What it does not test. It does not disclose the purchase price and does not by itself secure new orders for the combined design house.
