Germany launches AISI Deutschland, its national AI security institute

Germany's BMDS and BMI launched AISI Deutschland in Berlin on 31 August 2026, an AI security institute built around the BSI (security) and the Bundesnetzagentur (safety), implementing a June 2026 National Security Council decision.
