Nvidia reported to agree USD 12.9 billion purchase of AI hub Hugging Face

The Information reported, and Bloomberg and TechCrunch corroborated, that Nvidia has agreed in principle to buy Hugging Face, the widely used open model hub with Paris roots, for USD 12.9 billion; no signed contract exists and talks could still collapse.
