European Commission approves EUR 6.1 billion in defence procurement for Ukraine

On Ukraine's Independence Day the European Commission approved EUR 6.1 billion in new defence procurement for Ukraine under the Ukraine Assistance Support Loan, covering air and missile defence, missiles, ammunition and radars.
