Irish firm MDM unveils USD 500 million transatlantic cable pair from Ireland

Irish subsea infrastructure firm MDM (McMahon Design and Management) unveiled plans for two transatlantic cables, Narwhal 1 and Narwhal 2, a combined USD 500 million investment linking Galway and southern Ireland to the US, with onward links to the UK and mainland Europe.
