EU opens AI Gigafactories call to unlock over EUR 30 billion in compute investment
The European Commission opened the AI Gigafactories call, offering up to EUR 10 billion in EU and national funding to anchor at least EUR 20 billion in private investment for up to seven AI computing sites across at least seven member states; bids close 12 November 2026.
