US-owned GDELS agrees to buy Faurecia's Augsburg plant from FORVIA

General Dynamics European Land Systems, the European arm of the US defence group, agreed to buy FORVIA's Augsburg exhaust systems plant and around 300 staff, converting it into GDELS' largest German site and a hub for EAGLE and PIRANHA military vehicles.
