France orders MBDA to develop ASN4G hypersonic nuclear missile for Rafale F5

France's DGA ordered MBDA on 2 June to develop the ASN4G hypersonic, nuclear capable missile for the Rafale F5, targeting Mach 8 speeds and a 2035 in-service date to replace the ASMPA on France's airborne nuclear deterrent.
