Poland receives first EUR 6.6 billion payment under the EU's SAFE defence loan

Poland received EUR 6.6 billion, 15% of its EUR 43.7 billion SAFE allocation, as the first pre-financing payment under the EU's defence loan instrument, which Commissioner Andrius Kubilius called a concrete step for common security.
