European Commission signs EUR 16.68 billion SAFE loan agreement with Romania

Romania and the European Commission concluded a SAFE loan agreement worth EUR 16.68 billion, the second largest under the instrument after Poland, financing defence procurement, security infrastructure and strategic road links to Moldova.
