Poland signs EUR 43.7 billion SAFE loan agreement with the EU, first to do so

Poland became the first EU country to sign a loan agreement under the Security Action for Europe (SAFE) instrument, worth EUR 43.7 billion, signed in Warsaw by Polish ministers and Commissioners Piotr Serafin and Andrius Kubilius to fund defence modernisation.
