EU Council approves EUR 17.15 billion SAFE defence loans for Czechia and France

The Council of the EU cleared SAFE loans of EUR 17.15 billion for Czechia (EUR 2.06 billion) and France (EUR 15.09 billion) to fund defence procurement, with no equipment or suppliers yet chosen.
