Austria funds GATE Space to build its first military satellite

Austria's government confirmed roughly EUR 0.75 million in funding, via Austria Wirtschaftsservice, for startup GATE Space to build BEACONSAT, Austria's first military satellite, meant to detect GPS and Galileo jamming and spoofing, launch due February 2027.
