Ireland launches first National Maritime Security Strategy for undersea cables

Defence Minister Helen McEntee launched Ireland's first National Maritime Security Strategy 2026-2030, a five year plan naming protection of undersea cables and interconnectors with France and the UK across its 420,000 square kilometre exclusive economic zone.
