Orbex enters administration, ending UK's Prime small-launch rocket programme

UK rocket developer Orbex filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators on 11 February 2026, after Series D fundraising and takeover talks failed, halting development of its Prime small-launch vehicle and cutting around 150 jobs.
