German cabinet approves law naming Bundesnetzagentur as AI Act regulator
Germany's federal cabinet approved the draft KI-MIG law implementing the EU AI Act domestically, naming the Bundesnetzagentur as market surveillance authority, coordination point and EU contact point, ahead of the August 2026 compliance deadline.
