Verified EuroHPC Joint Undertaking press release, 20 January 2026

What it does not test. This does not establish that any gigafactory or quantum facility has been funded yet, since the amendment only extends the Joint Undertaking's legal scope to do so.

How this item counts. No movement: no answer to who owns, who operates, whose law governs or who made the parts changes. Weight 0. EuroHPC mandate widened for gigafactories/quantum; legal scope only, nothing funded yet. European Sovereignty Index
