Portugal adopts National AI Agenda, pledges over EUR 400 million to 2030

Portugal's Council of Ministers approved Resolution 2/2026, adopting the National AI Agenda and its 2026 to 2030 action plan, which AICEP said is projected to channel over EUR 400 million, mostly EU funds, into AI by 2030. The headline figure of "EUR 400,000" circulating in some outlets is an error.
